Introducing our Continuing Education
It is our mission at BSR to have a curriculum that allows our students to meet the national standards for reflexology as well as have the ability to broaden their knowledge. Therefore, The Baltimore School of Reflexology is pleased and excited to announce that we will now be offering continuing education classes in 2012. Our continuing education classes are recognized and accepted by the ARCB and the NCBTMB for continuing education credits. We are proud to be offering something brand new, a Certified Infant/Child Reflexology Instructor course. We will also be offering a class in Thai Reflexology as well as an “Incorporating Chakras into a Reflexology Session” class. We have other classes that are currently in the process of being written.
Certified Infant/Child Reflexology Instructor Training
A Certified Infant/Child Reflexology Instructor works with parents to teach them how they can use reflexology at home to: maintain and improve the health of their infant/child, improve communication and understanding between themselves and their infant/child, and to improve and deepen the parent/ child bonds that last a lifetime.
This certification is divided into three (3) levels; Infants ages birth through 1 year old, Toddlers / Preschoolers ages 1 to 4 years old, and children ages 5 to 12 years old. To become a Certified Infant / Child Reflexology Instructor, you must complete all three levels, read the book “Touch” by Tiffany Fields, pass a written test given at the completion of the third level, and document your instruction of 5 parent/child classes for each level of training (total of 15) including a class rooster.
